A Review That Inspired Chuckles
Yesterday Out in Print: Queer Book Reviews posted a review of Settling the Score, one that gave me a few chuckles. Reviewer Jerry Wheeler has a lovely sense of humor and -- thank goodness! -- enjoyed the book.

Great review! I have to say I agree with most of it, but I thought you did the place setting descriptions just fine.

Hi Librarian!!! How are you? I wondered what the reviewer meant specifically about place, but totally loved:
"If all this sounds like a bunch of hackneyed elements thrown against the wall…well, it is. But a suprising number of them not only stick, but work quite well together."
yes, a funny review, and spot-on, although I wouldn't know about the sense of place - for me, it was enough...
I live very near to the setting for Troy's home, so perhaps I took too much for granted, since it's scenery I'm very familiar with. But I loved the review! (And obviously need to work on my blurb writing!)
