Quick as it comes, it will go,
some know this,
some comfortable in the understanding
that good things
stop being them, somewhere
along the way.  
With the swell
comes the crash,
and wise are those that
love both
with equal fever.  

Come for the carnival
but stay for the
implosion,
the running off the rails,
the worn spot in
the grass
where the tent
once stood.
