Prediction Book Tag

Hello awesome nerds and happy Thursday everyone! ☺

The days have started turning into a blur, I think it’s Monday and I just realised that it’s been quite some time since the last time I posted a book tag here. And judging from the fact that everyone’s predicting that the quarantine is gonna end in late May, I decided to share my Prediction Book Tag with you.

I originally came across this tag on Kristin’s blog, so if you wanna check her post make sure you follow the link provided.

I wasn’t tagged by anyone, but you know me and you know how much I enjoy these things, so sit back comfortably and enjoy my predictions!

ALL OF THESE PROMPTS ARE MY PERSONAL PREDICTIONS FOR…
1. NEXT READ

So, I’m in the middle of three books right now (those that I’m actively reading, I mean), but as soon as I finish these, I will definitely pick up The Queen’s Assassin, by Melissa de la Cruz, as it sounds really promising and I’m in desperate need for some fantasy romance!

2. NEXT 5-STAR READ

I only started reading House of Earth and Blood, by Sarah J. Maas, the day before yesterday but I’m already loving it SO MUCH to the point I realised that I had missed Sarah’s writing style and swoony stories and amazing world-building so very much, that I do need to reread the ACOTAR series soon! ❤

3. NEXT 1-STAR READ

For the past couple of months I’ve been reading on and off A River of Royal Blood, by Amanda Joy, and as much as I wanted to love this book, it seems that, at this point, the pace seems really slow and I can’t connect with the characters, nor do I care about what happens to them next. Plus, I feel like I expected something completely different and yet, I haven’t gotten it so far. I do hope I’ll end up rating this book with more that just 1 star, but I’m not so optimistic, to be honest.

4.NEXT LOVE INTEREST (OR CHARACTER THAT SEEMS REALLY COOL TO YOU)

Conor… Or Hunt… Or… Ugh… The struggle is always real when reading a Sarah J. Maas book! But it’s all worth it!

5.NEXT BOOK THAT WILL LEAVE YOU WITH A BOOK HANGOVER (AND DESPERATELY WANTING A REREAD OR NEXT IN SERIES)

I’m convinced that House of Earth and Blood will leave me with a HUGE book hangover, and the only way to deal with it will be to read…

Chain of Gold, by Cassandra Clare, which will only make my hangover worse and then I’ll have to reread the entire Shadowhunters’ Chronicles, which is totally fine by me.

These are my predictions and considering the fact that my slump hasn’t left me for quite some time now, I do hope that these books, especially House of Earth and Blood, and Chain of Gold will help me endure the quarantine and will actually make me feel all the feels again.

Feel free to make your own predictions and post your own tag, and don’t forget to tag me so I can see your answers! ☺ Also, it would be super cool if you told me which do you think are going to be your next 5 and 1-star reads.

I look forward to reading all your predictions in the comment section down below.

Thank you all for stopping by once again. It truly means the world to me and I want you to know that I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted.

Love you all to Pluto and back. I hope you stay safe and stay home during these turbulent  times.
