Looking back now, it all seemed like unnecessary fuss.

Everyone theyd ever met had commented on the way they looked at one another, how they gravitated towards each other without even intending to. No one said anything of course, as the looks between them became more loaded, and their closeness grew more heated, and even the knowing expressions of their friends grew so frequent that eventually, even they couldnt ignore what was happening.
