Need Something to Do? Tell a Friend!

What a difference the world is in since my quick note from last week…

First off, I hope you and your family and friends are safe and are maintaining social distancing in an effort to minimize the impact of COVID-19.  Like many of you, I have been in a mandatory work-from-home this week and it looks like it will continue for the foreseeable future (no, this site is not my full-time job!).  If you’re like me, I’m tired of staring at the same walls and am getting a bit stir-crazy.  As a voracious reader, I have found myself reading even more than usual on my Kindle.

That being said, let me point out several things….

First, Amazon is giving away two free months of Kindle Unlimited (click here to learn more about it).  With Kindle Unlimited, you can borrow Kindle books for free that are rarely free and read away to your heart’s content.  The last time I looked, there were over one million books available to be read in the Kindle Unlimited program.  Give it a shot – you can sign up for the free trial if you click here, and once you do why don’t you grab a bunch of books to read while you’re at home?

We have also partnered with a lot of independent authors who have graciously offered their books for free over the next three weeks, so look for more than usual in the free book offerings in our daily posts.

I’m 100% certain you have friends, family members, co-workers, and even enemies who love to read.  Why not tell them about this site?  They can receive each day’s email of free Kindle book offers if they click here or go to https://www.fkbt.com/subscribe and signup to receive today’s posts.  They will find great new material to read and will appreciate about saving a bit of money in a time where it is uncertain and it appears we are heading into a recession.

Stay safe and be kind to one another and help out where you can – we will all get through this for the better!

Have a great weekend-

Michael
