Remembering a friend …
Today is bittersweet. On the bright side, Crush the King, Crown of Shards #3, has been released (Go! Read! Enjoy!). On the not-so-bright side, today, March 17, is the birthday of my friend Karen Borrelli, who passed away in February from metastatic breast cancer. She would have been 62. Sorry for the loss of your friend. She seemed like an awesome person. Maybe, in part, the release of Crush the King is her way of saying "This is a happy day. Let's celebrate."
