The Journal of Applied Physiology announced that one veggie juice can improve athletic performance more than "any other known means, including training." The juice? Beet root juice. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? Beet juice is included in V-8, so I'll ask the company if this is the same as "beet root" juice. Beets are, technically, the root of the plant, right?
