Danderma on Bazaar's Dining Guide Blog Bytes :D

In January of every year Bazaar Magazine issues a dining guide. Its a thick black book that contains reviews about the latest it restaurants in Kuwait. Not only reviews: interviews, menus, chef and restaurant owner interviews and this year they have decided to add something new called Blog Bytes.

Several bloggers, myself included, were asked a few questions and asked to answer as if we were tweeting them I read about half the guide yesterday before falling asleep and two of my favorite bloggers, Ansam and The Diet Ninja, were there as well! I wonder who else will appear in the second half :p

Well aside from the fact that I AM ON IT the dining guide is a must have. I have the past three dining guides sitting proudly on my bookshelf and I just learned that there are three more that I didn't know about! To my surprise I found out several new things about the dining scene in Kuwait. A couple of new places and the fact that Cucina Restaurant in Missoni Hotel is created by Chef Giorgio Locatteli!

Giorgio Locatelli? Giorgio Locatalli? We have a Giorgio Locatelli restaurant in Kuwait  when I've been trying to get a reservation in his restaurant Locanda Locatelli in London without any luck?! The Giorgio Locatelli?

He is one of my favorite chefs! Why didn't any one ever make a hype over him opening up a restaurant in Kuwait? We have got serious lessons to learn from our sister Dubai in PR! and here I am mourning the fact that no chef wants to open up in Kuwait all the while one of my favorites has opened up!!! Well thanks to Bazaar, now I know!
