Away from the extremes,
we shy.
Some belief the middle
is where we belong,
in control and
balanced,
not too much sorrow,
not too much joy,
a drop of each
no more.

Life is in the
exaggeration,
the far extremes
that teach us of
the filling
we are made of.

Fall into darkness,
explode into light

there is no other
way.
