It’s getting close to that time for me to host a “fabulous” book launch dinner. It takes so much work, preparation and prayer to make these events happen, although to some it might seem effortless. They only see the final fancy pictures, without knowing about all the DRAMA that goes on behind the scenes. Although, it seems as if I always have everything under control, the truth is I’m just another flawed woman battling anxiety behind closed doors. Another woman trying to make all of her dreams happen. One who Is trying to prove the naysayers wrong, and leave a piece of her soul behind on this planet in the form of Art. Yet, the immense pressure of unbecoming especially as the release date approaches, because after all we live in a world where numbers seem to be the only thing that counts. It feels as if many things are on the line for me with this new book, but then again diamonds are formed through violent pressure and change. I’m grateful for having people in my corner who believe in me and are fighting the fight with me. Also, I’m forever grateful for all of those who write me sweet messages daily sending love and support! Everyone who has pre-ordered “EIGHTEEN INCHES” and is excited to read it.
