Hello, Write Edge readers! It’s the month of spring break, although I’m sure many of you have suspended travel plans due to COVID-19. I’ve spoken to many friends and family who have put off trips and have unfortunately had to cancel one myself. Better to be safe than sorry, even as we look longingly at stock pictures of bright blue skies and happy people holding drinks and laughing like they don’t have a care in the world. Do you know why those people are happy? No coronavirus.

Yes, this is my PSA to continue washing your hands. Several times a day. For at least 20 seconds at a time. If you’re into social media, you’ll find plenty of posts and memes sharing 20-second snatches of popular songs you can sing while you lather up. Check it out.
