We grow boring
in love,
insufferable
in our joy, the
contentedness
of our hearts.
Intolerable lot,
those madly swimming
in the currents
of adoration,
but they do not
tell us this.

Slowly we forget
the suffering
we endured, we
are lost in the
rosy haze
of infatuation
and all that
follows it.
