The Sharp Edge of Bliss by Sorcha Black
It’s not often I stumble across an author that leaves an impression on me with the mastery of their craft. I’ve loved so many great stories, yet having very neutral reactions in regards to the writing. Not this time. Within the first few chapters, I knew I’d been granted a rare gift – an author that encompasses the epitome of excellence. With a few perfectly orchestrated words, intelligently arranged, this author was able to convey a multitude of intense emotions and vivid imagery. The writing was a linguistic orgy for the mind. Superb.

The story depicts three characters; all beautifully broken and wonderfully flawed. Told from the heroine’s POV, we meet two incredibly diverse men with hidden depths and agendas: the pampered prince, and the villainous king. One nursing an unrequited love and the other incapable of showing the emotions he secretly harbors. A bridge to breach the divide is exactly what they need, yet never knew they wanted. Being cajoled along this rollercoaster ride of hedonistic pleasure, forbidden fantasies, untapped desires, and delicious kink, leaves the reader hanging onto every flourishing detail and scripted word. A story of unconventional love and three hearts learning to beat as one.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys their romance a bit filthy, slightly depraved, deliciously edgy, and blissfully broken.
