Typewriter Series #2900 by Tyler Knott Gregson

Every hundredth feels
like a victory,
another hundred days
alive
filled with wonder, with
ache, with words that fill
like I am the pool
at the base of the waterfall,
small stream spilling out
while more fall.
I am just enough
to keep from overfilling,
though I feel the threat of it
constantly.  
More words than time
but I sit here, for the
twenty-nine hundredth time
and celebrate
surviving
five score and these few minutes,
a century of days
wide awake and listening.

Enough, now,
the water is rising
and this feels like
starting over.
