Difficult Decisions

The Secret at Sunset Hill A Katie Porter Mystery by K.T. McGivens In the first book of my Katie Porter Mystery series, "The Secret at Sunset Hill", Katie must make a quick decision that has a lot to do with good verses evil. It should be an easy one to make but sometimes this fight can be somewhat clouded. In other words, how do our actions affect others? Sometimes we think we're doing the right thing when, if fact, the consequences end up being the opposite. This realization makes Katie ponder the question and her actions.

"The Secret at Sunset Hill" also includes the issue of power. Power can corrupt. And absolute power corrupts absolutely! Worse, yet, we are not always in a position to judge whether the situation we're dealing with is "good" or "evil" and if doing "good" could potentially place us in a position of power, tempting us to turn to evil.

Life can hand us some weighty issues and all we can do is what we believe is the best.
