Just wanted to send out a thank you to everyone on Goodreads who has read A Lighter Shade of Gray. The book means a lot to me as I truly poured my heart and soul into writing it, and I very much appreciate my wonderful readers.
I'm currently working on my second novel, The Untrodden Ways. It was originally scheduled for release in 2011, but we've pushed it back a bit since sales of Gray have still been good, and to allow my publisher to release a few more titles in between. Besides, we writers can be a bit obsessive over the details and don't mind getting a little extra time to perfect our work! We're fickle folk, for sure.
Thanks also for the reviews - I appreciate them, as well. If anyone's feeling up to it, posting a review on Amazon.com can help to boost a book in their ratings (or lower it, if you hated it - in which case, I apologize).

Thanks, Julie! I'm working on it. I've been very busy with a side project I'm creating with some friends, (a poetry and prose collection we're also hoping to have published through Neverland Publishing by next year), and, since A Lighter Shade of Gray seems to still be gaining in popularity (hooray!), we wanted to give it a little more time to "simmer." But that second novel will be released by the end of the year, as my grandma used to say, "Lord willing and the creek don't rise!"
