Great blog! I wish you luck on the weight loss. I recently started atrial arts back...my 6 year old is taking it as well. I just finished happily never after and of course loved it! Next is devil to pay!
I've never dd the new years resolution either because I would ever do them and feel lousy the rest if the year!

Thank you for the message , Jeaniene . It was very inspiring for me and, I believe, for all your fans around the world .Maybe you should consider publishing in Portugal . That's where I live, and to read your books I have to order them from England ! I think that people in Portugal would give your books a warm welcome .
A big hug from a desperate Cat and Bones fan.

I wish you luck with your hopes and dreams for 2012!I only have one dream... to be healthy again. I can only hope that I get a litte better this year instead of getting worse like the past 10 years. Or that scientists finally find the cause (and maybe a cure) for Fibromyalgia and CFS. A day without pain and waking up more or less feeling rested, that is my dream. To be able to have a social life again, go work again, live life at the fullest.
But if all that doesn't happen, as usual I get my little pleasures out of books, my cats...
Thank you for your post, Jeaniene. Thinking about what you said has brought me a few (rare these days) tears and memories. I applaud your thinking and hope others see the benefits found in gaining an understanding of one's own worth and the value of every single day at a time. Best wishes for this year to you and to all your other readers, too!

Excellent post, Jeaniene. Like you, I am not making resolutions either. They seem to set me up for failure, year after year. So on January 1, I set goals, expectations and "reaches"... but I think I'll rename them to "hopes!" Happy 2012!

Hi Jeaniene,Thanks for writing this! It was very inspiring and such an eye opener... specially the part of "chasing my tail"...LOL! So true!
Anyway, good luck and my best wishes for you in this new year!!

A lot of people face those same struggles, always thinking there is something better around the corner, and in a way, it's a good thing to keep striving for more, but not to the point were you discredit what you've accomplished.
Happy New Year!
