AFCB need fully committed players against Villa
Eddie Howe was keen to underline that his players will aim to give everything against Aston Villa today. They are a team that has been held back by confidence issues, but the players all know they have to give everything now.
They are staying and AFCB are ready for the fight ahead. With no second chances as Howe describes the situation, Bournemouth know that a win would take them out of the relegation zone. What Eddie needs now is players that can make the difference and those players just might be coming back now - Josh King, Junior Stanislas and Jack Stacey will be assessed for match fitness. Meanwhile, Ryan Fraser admits that his head might not have been in the right place for all of the season, but that he is fully focused on getting Bournemouth out of trouble.

What we can see is that the team is pulling together now. The way Eddie Howe spoke about Josh King and his link with Manchester United's interest, it seemed hard for him to rule out a move, but he clearly wanted to say Josh was staying. The value of King is worth more to Bournemouth on the pitch now than any lucrative deal, and if the player does go in the summer, when he could have gone this January, that is another clear indication of how much the players want to get themselves out of this situation together and pull away from the bottom of the league.

Spread the love for AFCB this Valentine's Day with Eddie Had a Dream Bournemouth were reported to put in a £10m bid for Stoke City's Tyrese Campbell, but the Bournemouth Echo ruled that out because the striker signed a new deal with Stoke last week, and I hoped that was the end of any ideas Man United would have with King going to them in a loan deal. It was good to see Transfer Deadline Day pass without any dramas.

We want players that are committed to the cause at AFCB, but if the are players that want off then it is always best to let them go. What we do now is that all 11 players that start the game against Aston Villa need to be fully committed, because this is now the game of the season until the next match.

This is a fan’s personal view of AFC Bournemouth from the outside looking in. It reports on the daily official activities reported by the club and comments made by individual fans on social media and fanbase websites. Life as an AFCB fan is never dull. As a life-long supporter of the Cherries, it is the friendliness of the staff, fans and my enthusiasm for the club that inspired me to write this blog. https://afcbchimes.blogspot.com/
