Reading Challenge : January 2020

The first month of the year is up. Can you believe it?

It seems like only yesterday, that the Holidays were here, and people were busy debating resolutions. And now, the first 31 days of the New Year are already up. Time flies!

And of course, it is time for my first update on the Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2020.

Here’s how I fared.

As far as books read go:

The first book is Venture Mom– it’s been on my Reading List for a while. So I feel happy to have crossed that off the list.

The second one is a re-read: Agatha Christie’s Parker Pyne Investigates. Re-reading is so wonderful because you can really savor the words and incidents and appreciate the nuances now that the ending is known. When the book in question is detective fiction and a thriller and a well written one at that, the joy of reading gets extremely enhanced is my experience. Others may disagree- but hey, my blog, my views!
