The Day is pleased to announce, in partnership with Bank Square Books in Mystic, a new book club called Read of The Day. The inaugural gathering happens Saturday at Bank Square and features Old Lyme serial-bestseller Luanne Rice in support of "Last Day," her brand new — and first-ever — crime novel. The whodunit is rife with local lore and settings, and is based on a famous Niantic murder case from the early 1990s — and the plot has so many clever red herrings you'll never figure out who did it.

so happy to receive my copy of Last Day
Just finished reading it loved this story! Just could not put it down. I enjoy reading all the descriptive words about Black Hall having lived here for most of my life. Have read Ms.Rices other books and have enjoyed those very much as well. Looking forward to another crime novel soon I hope.
