Angie While I live in a different state than Ms. Rivers, I have seen the same things here. I think that we are, indeed, making the problem worse by all of our "help". FDR's New Deal has definitely had some very unexpected consequences. Rather than behavior that rises above our trials, very often human behavior will fall to the lowest common denominator. It is time for a change.

Nora Olmo My option are to lower the rents and change the laws. However, everybody has a different story....all homeless have a history. Homeless society and their families and friends may live a different culture. Everyone has different routines in there own families that some may have a hard time adopting too. They were too many roadblocks. How they were put there, not by CHOICE. They system does not work for everyone!!!!

Nora Olmo There’s a lot of buildings, houses and factories that can be used etc. Why don’t these business people fix them up for example; people with “special needs” , “veterans” etc However, instead of building new housing. Our animals need shelter also. These establishments need to take care of all the housing violation $$$ first. This is one problem solved.

Nora Olmo Drug addicts/alcoholic — are severally depressed people. They have mental illness and they are misunderstood because they are depress. Our society looks down on them as waste. Why can’t they get themselves together. However, some hide it very well. That’s one of the reasons why we have an overflowing homelessness . ... .

Nora Olmo However, many professional are addicts not all of them are poor! These people have money and power and abuse it too. There are also co—- depends and look the other way, not my problem and so... on ; our system is about MONEY not PEOPLE or ANIMALS.
