I’ve just posted the second part of the New Year Story on the website. There is more to come. I’m meekly writing down what Jarra tells me to say, so I’ve no idea where this story is going, but I have a feeling that it could turn out to be quite long.

Ah, happy birthday! I'm sure Jarra would approve of you rereading the Earth Girl books.I'm glad you enjoyed reading Borderline too. The plot lines got a bit out of hand, so it turned out longer than intended. I'm hoping to keep the next Hive book rather more under control.

Last year I reread all your books so that I could include the short stories in the right places. After that I had a million thoughts about what I'd like to see next, but on reflection it just boils down to this: Please keep doing what you are doing Ms Edwards, it's all good!
Thank you :) Actually, I more or less have to keep doing what I'm doing because the creative side of my brain insists on doing what it wants. I swear that it listens to my characters far more than it listens to me!
