Would it be weird if I were to comment on a fic when it was made a while ago? Sometimes I read one that I end up loving but then check to see that it was made XX ago.

Not at all! 

A few months ago, I added some fics to AO3 that I’d originally written on FFN back in 2006. I didn’t really expect anyone to read them. I’m just trying to slowly migrate my old works over. I was absolutely delighted to receive comments and kudos on them!

Thirteen years later and I’m still ecstatic. I don’t think you have anything to worry about anon. If the fics are still posted, they’re there for you to read. They’re also there for you to comment on if you have the desire to ❤
