According to the Boston Globe:
"With independent activists already doing the heavy labor of securing November ballot slots for a third party, and Paul's name prominently among those who could become its standard-bearer, Republicans are reluctant to condemn him too strongly, lest he decide to jump."
"Condemn him too strongly"? You have to go back to the 19th century to find a presidential candidate more viciously attacked by the GOP and its media and think-tank shills than the Good Doctor.
Of course, the GOP is more than worried. It is terrified at the specter of a Ron Paul revolution.
