2019 Reflection
Christmas is over and the New Year is almost upon us–which means it’s time for my annual year-in-review!
This was such a massive year for me as an author and us as a community, but I’ve gone through and picked out a few highlights!
This year, the K. M. Shea team and I…
Went to an author conference with my Entwined Tales buddies and got to meet so many amazing authors, like Lindsay Buroker and Raye Wagner!
Wrote and launched the first three Fairy Tale Enchantress books–Reign of Magic was, in particular, a huuuge accomplishment
Got my Timeless Fairy Tale ebook covers redone
Experimented with Retha short stories and different formats for extras–like the “Between a Prince and His Lady” short
Organized our “Fantastic February Facebook Event” with a lot help from Myrhlynn! Annette Marie, Elise Kova, Julie Hall, Holly Hook, and Lydia Sherrer all attended, and together we had a smashing good time!
Meg got the rest of my books–including the long awaited Goose Girl–up as paperbacks, so now we’ll just be on a cycle of waiting several months after a new release to catch the typos before we load it up and send it out.
Created the Bookplates that were in the December giveaway
Together, our community…
Held our first Summer Read Along for the City Between series–which was so much fun and had guest appearances by W. R. Gingell
The Heroes of Retha kinship on Lord of the Rings online celebrated their first anniversary in December
Voted in the annual Hero and Heroine polls–Angelique caused a pretty big shakeup this year
