Everyone’s a seed
planted somewhere
after the meeting

some are watered
with lust others disdain
some deep beneath
the soil that grew hard
and surface cracked,
some half a fingerprint
down, slight breeze
to threaten them, blow
them off before root
can take

some bloom, blossom
and seek out sun,
single flower brave
in the uncurling,

some take root
and spread,
some become
forests.
