Asylum: The Next Generation
Maybe not so far as a whole generation I suppose, but one of the interesting parts of "War to End All Wars" is that I'm having to flesh out four different Ultra classes we haven't seen much of, if anything of before (2012-2015). So in a way, I suppose the novel is best explained as one half FM1 and one half FM3 mashed together into a mix, only told from the POV of the student-advisers watching all the children run around like a bunch of crazy people.
Oh, and King Henry decides that since it's his last year, he has to do the unthinking and somehow prank the Lady herself...
Anyway, expect A LOT of new characters, some very meaningful and some only lightly touched, but of course I'll get to grab from the pool going forward, and who knows when they'll show up in later books?
And everything is a work in progress at this point and subject to possible changes, but hey, work is finally progressing again! So yay!
Perhaps the strongest of these classes is Class 2013, who are TRIs at the time of "War to End All Wars." They're led by a group of First Tier Ultras, all from Old Mancy families, and call themselves the Four Peers.

Zachariah Martin (Necro)
Caspian Adams (Hydro)
Danielle is not only the daughter of the Director of ESLED, she is also a Welf on her mother's side of the family, making her Heinrich and Vicky's second cousin. As for Juniper, yes, another one of those ginger Daniels running around, only in this particular case, they aren't enemies, but instead best friends.
