Going to see the Northern Lights is something I have to do. That whole region, Iceland etc fascinates me and has for a very long time. It just all looks magical. I think some of this stems from reading His Dark Materials, but it seems like an enchanting place - I even did my research essay/presentation on "The Mystical in Iceland," or something along those lines, last year. I would put "go and see the Northern Lights" on yesterday's 2012 to do list..but its massively full already.
