You don’t know it’s gone
after a time,
don’t know it was
ever there
to begin with,
flutters out like a
broken winged bird
out a half opened
window,
and then you’re
sitting in the dark,
still dressed
in yesterdays clothes,
and haven’t eaten
for three days.
