Two weeks to the end of the year!

Good morning, Write Edge readers! We’re halfway through December — two more weeks until the end of this year and this decade. Can you believe it?

I’m plugging away at the novel. It’s been quite the mental exercise, especially knowing that I’m working toward a dream that has a 50-50 shot of coming true. When I write it out like that, I like my odds. :> I have to remain mindful of the fact that the odds go in the other direction too. To that end, though, I think it’s still important to make those efforts, to pursue those life passions. To throw ourselves headlong into the process, because even the process is rewarding as this week’s quote tells us.

“I love my rejection slips. They show me I try.”—Sylvia Plath

My writing for The Write Edge Writing Workshop may have gone on hiatus this month, but the reading never stops. In the middle of the week, I’ll let you know what I thought of Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. Come back on Wednesday to know my thoughts on this book!

At the end of the week, it’s back to Instagram pictures. Check out my previous posts with my handle, @EktaRGarg, or on my Facebook author page (where you can find other fun stuff exclusive to Facebook.) Check it out this week before you get new Insta-pics this Friday!

Have a wonderful week, readers! (And stay warm. :>)
