'Forth Worth, Texas, has become the most recent city to pass an ordinance that will limit the number of dollar stores that can be developed.  Birmingham, Tulsa, New Orleans, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and Mesquite, Texas have all crafted policies that limit the number of dollar stores that can be developed.
