This is the kind of thing I talk about when I talk about his acting. For every character, he develops a whole set of facial expressions just for that person. The expressions that Sherlock makes are unique from any of Ben’s other characters, like this particular, super subtle, resentful little lower lip movement. It conveys so much, and is completely unique to this one character. I love it!
