The Most Amazing Year.
2011 . The year my dream of becoming a published author was realized.
My first novel, Unwritten Rules, was something I truly never thought would ever come to print, and yet in January 2011 it did. The feedback from my debut gave me the courage to submit my words to another, more established, publisher. The day the acceptance email hit my inbox was utterly indescribable. I will never forget it. Nor when I received the cover art for Accidental Fate either.
There have been low points -- my first bad review, but each day and each review made it worthwhile.
I couldn't have gotten to this stage without the help of some wonderful people, and they know exactly who they are. If not they need to check the dedications in my books! I am eternally grateful I have them, and they mean far more to me than they'll ever know.
I leave 2011 behind with such a wonderful sense of accomplishment. I can now say I'm a published author without blushing, or feeling like a fraud. I trust my words, knowing that they really are good enough.
2012 will be another adventure. One where I will see A Path Of Petals published by Beachwalk Press, along with my menage, Coming Home, published by Silver Publishing.
