How cool would it be to have an American Girls Collection museum? What if it had literally every book, doll, furniture, clothing, stuffed animal pet, and accessory ever produced by the company in its 32 year history? All the notes related to the research and development of each historical character…. all the photographs and sketches of real places that the illustrators used… copies of prototype clothing and accessories… a gallery of those old Götz dolls that Pleasant Rowland based her dolls on… material from characters that never made it to market…. even a re-creation of each historical character’s bedroom. How neat would that be???
