Baking Bread in Time for the New Year

I kept all my New Year's resolutions!

I baked this bread (with my mother, in her kitchen) in honor of Bitterblue.
(When you read Bitterblue, you'll understand.)
Happy New Year, everyone!

Jennifer (That looks delicious!!)

Hi Kristin,

I've not been able to find a message button, so I thought I'd leave my ramblings here for you.

I only discovered your writing last summer, and 'Graceling' is now my favourite YA book - I recommend it to everyone, hehe. You've really blown me away and given me the must-needed boost I'd been after to push on with my own novel.

I work for the UK book store Waterstone's and have been promoting 'Graceling' in store (and squeal behind the counter whenever anyone buys a copy of it or 'Fire'!). I can't wait for 'Bitterblue' to come out and have my finger poised over the order button, ready and waiting.

Hope you had a wonderful New Year and that 'Bitterblue' is coming along well!

Best wishes,
Jenn.
