Pine tree cones and tinsel

Merry meet all,

Greetings! We are now into December. The Wheel of the year turns now to Yule, or the Winter Solstice. That is only a few weeks away.

I have great news! Hellbound Books is publishing my short story, How the Crow Flies! next year I am so happy.  I had a hard time finding a publisher for that story. One new reason to look forward to the year 2020!

To get you in the mood for Yule, here is a fun project to try! Grow a cone

Here is how you do it:

Go out in the woods and find a pine cone in good condition. Bring it home and set it in a pot of soil. Water the pine cone in small amounts. Don’t overdo it. After some time, a tiny tree will appear. You will grow a tiny pinecone tree. I can’t wait to try this.

Or you could create  your own Yule log. I will post on how to create your own Yule log in the next post. Till then,

stay warm with hot cocoa and snugglies!

Blessings,

Spiderwitch
