Some time ago Google decided to get tough on all sites that didn’t have an SSL. They set a deadline and then they started to enforce their ruling.
I know the majority of the folks I work with go cross-eyed when I mention things like SSL and HTTPS. I don’t blame them, frankly. I understand that Google has the right to do what they choose, but this subject has been a make work project for me. Spending hours and hours sorting out all my author’s sites one by one.
