Demons to lovers
Greetings everyone thank you for your time. The holidays are coming up that means knuckling down on writing for me because even the hermit has to spend time with family.
It's a wonderful time really, I get to listen to my nanna trot out the how it used to be's. My sister brings up my most embarrassing moments in history to everyone who will listen. I try to show my boys and neices how to play Jenga and Scrabble in which I usually lose miserably and have to move on to one of those newer games they play like Zombies! And Cards against Humanity.
It's a time for putting weight on that you spend all year taking off so you can put it on again. Its standing uncomfortably in line to the bathroom sure your going to disgrace yourself and wondering if there's really anything wrong with depends and empty bottles. Bells and whistles being unpacked for the holidays and for me I get to tell my family the demon is out, the lovers are in.
The Oni is getting good reads from beta readers but I'm still waiting for reviews. It's a time to buckle down on Razorback Hollow which will debut under my pen name and be my first romance novel to present to the masses.
That means all the work I put into being a horror author I have to start from scratch and start fresh as a romance writer. Of course horror never leaves me and I'm working on Falcon Ridge but God damn it's so good I'm going to try to get it traditionally published! That is currently what I'm working on with AKA Johnny Elf.
To be fair to my agents I need to give it at least till February for Johnny. So the next book on Amazon will be the romance and after that maybe another romance or I may slide into the fantasy and YA zone. What do you think?
People tell me it's a bad idea to swing between genres since noone knows me as an established author but heck what better way to get known then to reach out to other genres if you can? Not to brag but when it's not holiday season I can get a shitload of books finished and I intend to try to release as many as possible before I die. But tell me as a reader what genres do you like?
