I have to first admit that I need to know more about this, but at first blush, I am of the opinion that it's a law that could potentially do more harm than good.

Piracy is a problem. It will affect everyone eventually in ways we haven't yet realized. But the goal of law should be an appropriate measure for each condition.  This law seems like corporate engineering, more than preventative planning.

But I am not completely informed yet.
