Donkey the First updates
Exciting news! Well, I am feeling pretty excited about it anyway. The 2nd draft of Donkey the First has been handed to the editors and test readers. This means as long as I haven't named all the characters Simon, or something equally daft, this book is looking likely to be released in the spring of 2020 with the second book in the series - Rebirth of the Mage, coming out in winter of the same year.
It has been a lot of effort getting this book ready, and as some of you might know this is actually the second edition of the story. That said it is now a very different beast, with roughly an extra 100 pages from the 1st edition making it almost a completely different story. In some ways it is completely different, now that it has been brought into the Caer Innar world. Of course the core characters remain, with a few tweaks, and the overall plot line is much the same but the journey should seem new to all readers of the 1st edition.
So, watch this space as we will be announcing more as we progress with the editing process. We might event release a few sample chapters!
