One step at a time/Um passinho de cada vez
On ICU visit #1, I found a completely irresponsive Mercuri. I cried a lot, for hours, simply unable to stop. Since I can’t speak to him directly, I decided to talk to his soul and I asked “Sweetie, what do you want from me?” to which he replied “I want you to be happy”… Soon after, in the exact same moment, a friend was in my house praying, another friend called me and performed a beautiful long distance ritual and another friend sent me a whatsapp audio message also saying a prayer for us. The three of them said the same thing. Not quite happy yet but I stopped crying. One step at a time.
Mercuri did dialysis and received another blood bag today. He looked better on visits #2 and #3. He still doesn’t interact with the outside world but he did have a few sips of apple juice, the first food he’s had orally in 27 nights in ICU. One step at a time. Na Visita #1 a UTI, encontrei um Mercuri totalmente sem reação. Chorei muito, por horas, sem conseguir parar. Já que não consigo falar com ele, resolvi falar com a alma dele e perguntei “Meu Amor, o que você quer de mim?“ e ele respondeu "Quero que você fique feliz”… Pouco tempo depois, na mesma hora, um amigo veio fazer uma oração em casa, uma amiga me telefonou e vez um lindo ritual a distância e uma outra me mandou recado de áudio, também com uma oração. Os três disseram as mesmas coisas. Ainda não estou exatamente feliz mas parei de chorar. Um passinho de cada vez.
Mercuri fez diálise e recebeu mais uma bolsa de sangue. Estava com uma aparência melhor nas visitas #2 e #3. Continua sem interagir mas bebeu alguns goles de suco de maçã, a primeira alimentação via oral em 27 noites de UTI. Um passinho de cada vez. #diariodecuidadora
