Uhhh, YEAH. That stuff is amazing. I made a different recipe ONCE years ago and it was terrible, so I quit making it. But your story inspired me, and gave great pro tips: no bacon, some spice difference that really made it fantastic, and then WOW! I make it regularly now. Once per month since it got cold. Wait wait wait, I’m very concerned by something you said here - what do you mean, “no bacon”?? That’s a typo or something, right?? My recipe VERY much calls for bacon!
