What's on TV? Sunday, November 10, 1968

Ah, the good old Sundays, with the NFL on CBS, and the AFL on NBC. The Giants were playing the Cowboys, just as they were as I was typing this last sentence. (Without the black cat, though.) One thing that strikes me about this time is looking at the interview shows like Meet the Press. This week, the guests are the Apollo 7 astronauts; nowadays, they hardly have anyone outside of the political arena.

That 5:30 news special about where to locate the major airport in the Twin Cities? We've been talking about that for decades, and despite all that talking, no new airport has ever been built. We just keep expanding the existing MSP, more and more and more. The city of Richfield, where I used to live, has neighborhoods closer to the runway than at any other major airport in the country.
