Her latest book THE CALL OF DEATH, has hit the shelves and is just as engaging as her debut novel, NOCTURNAL MEETINGS OF THE MISPLACED. Now, technically, we’re supposed to be celebrating the release of THE CALL OF DEATH, but this is my blog and I will do as I please.

SO WE’RE CELEBRATING BOTH!!!

I don’t know about you, but the cover alone scared the hell out of me!!! And the book….

Hannah Priestly is an obsessive-compulsive California girl attending an English boarding school with the usual teen problems. She doesn’t fit in at school and is falling in love with her best friend. But when she wakes up knowing the name of a notorious serial killer at large, Norman Biggs, her life goes from complicated to scary, and her visions only grow darker.

Rory Veer is Hannah’s easy-going, romantically challenged friend, and school crush. When Norman Biggs unexpectedly appears in Rory’s reality, terror is set in motion. It is Rory who must acknowledge a past he has denied if the mystery is to be unraveled.

Thrust into a terrifying future, they must find a way to change fate before it catches up with them.

Lot’s of thrills and chills in this one…TRUST ME!!!

Again with the scary covers!!!!!

What’s it about you say???

Mystery surrounds the town of Summertime, Indiana, where fifteen-year-old Tommy Walker and his little sister are sent to live with relatives they’ve never met. Tommy soon makes friends with Finn Wilds, a rebellious local who lives with his volatile and abusive stepfather, who also happens to be the town’s sheriff.

Finn invites Tommy to late-night meetings in the woods, where Tommy gets to know two girls. He forms a special and unique connection with both girls. The meetings become a place where the kids, who don’t fit in at school, or home can finally belong. As the group of friends begin to unravel clues to a cold case murder and kidnapping— they learn the truth is darker and closer than they ever imagined. Even if they live to tell, will anyone believe them?

Yep, this one had me on the edge of my seat, too!!

Okay, a few hands have went up in the back. You seem to be curious about who this gifted writer is…

R.J. Garcia is a wife and proud mom. She earned her MSW and worked with foster children and as a school social worker. Writing has been her other great love. She has published several non-fiction pieces. She has been writing short-stories for as long as she can remember. To her amazement, those short stories became novels!

Since I know you want to find out even more about this awesome writer, I have provided her contact info below. YOU’RE WELCOME!!!
