i'm like the little engine that could.....because God is so good!

God knows just how much we can take and just how far we can go, and He gives us the strength we need to do it with.  He has promised to NOT give us more than we can handle.  The thing we need to remember is He's the one who knows how much we TRULY can handle.  We may think we know, but sometimes our flesh-made bodies want to be a little lazy and so we won't push ourselves to go as far as we really CAN go. 



That's when God steps in and shows us, that with Him, we have no limit.  We may moan and groan, but if we will just persevere we will be able to do the very thing we said we couldn't do.  We just CAN'T give up.  What would our lives be like if God gave up on us?  I am so glad He is in control of my life or I would just want to curl up and die.  Every time I come to a point that I think I can't go beyond, God gives me that extra dose of strength I need and I am able to go past my quitting point.  Every time I do that I gain more and more strength and am able to go further and further.  We need to take God at His Word and believe that He is the Ultimate Promise Keeper.  He will never let us down.  He will never make us walk that dark path alone.  What we need He will supply.  He will carry us through the most difficult times. 



We need to grow in boldness of knowing and believing what God tells us.  We need to STAND on His PROMISES without doubt and fear.  We have to STOP LIMITING OURSELVES and we have to STOP LIMITING GOD.
