Michael Shapiro will talk about The Creative Spark: How musicians, writers, explorers, and other artists found their inner fire and followed their dreams.

The Creative Spark is about how musicians, writers and other artists nurture and sustain their creativity; it also discusses how each one of us can cultivate and enhance our own creativity. While The Creative Spark is not a how-to book, the interviews serve as guideposts for how all of us can discover and liberate our own creative energies. The presentation follows the format of a TED talk. As part of my talk, I share some of the most compelling quotes from the creative people I profile in the book then segue into how every one of us can be more creative in our daily lives.
