An Impostor!!!

Some of you may know that I have a pretty bad case of impostor syndrome when it comes to my identity as a writer. In the past, whenever someone asked me to sign a copy of one of my books, I always did so by printing my initials in lowercase letters as tiny as I could possibly print them. However, as the impostor syndrome has worsened over time, that practice by itself is no longer sufficient.

But then I had this great idea: I’ll continue to sign books in this manner, but now I’ll do so using a fine-point .5mm mechanical pencil while also including AN ERASER that people can use to erase the signature if they feel so inclined. Problem solved! Yay, me!!!!!!

Douglas Hackle Hey, that box of TERROR MANNEQUIN paperbacks finally came in the mail. A few of these are still unclaimed, so if anyone (trolls excluded) wants a free signed paperback in exchange for an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, etc., send me a message. Remember, these copies will all be mailed out with erasers should anyone want to erase my pencilled signature.

Damn, son, I have A LOT of erasers. Hey, if you’re not interested in reading the book, can I at least send you some erasers???

Melly D. Hac., is this offer open to people outside of the continental US? I'm asking in my role as a disreputable Canadian.

That might be doable. But if it's not, I have a few mobi versions to give away, too, if you're interested. (I forget if you're an ebook person or not.)

Melly If you're willing to send me a mobi, that's fine by me, I just really want to read it! (I'm going to buy it eventually anyway, but I'm the kind of person who sometimes has $2.21 in available credit, so.)

Even though you're a Weird Canadian Pseudo-Person, I'll hook that shit up, yo!!!

That's hateful discrimination, boy. You're in big trouble now.

Ah, come on. I'll table MJ's for a while."
