When I first started writing seriously (by which I mean: with intention and focus) I read many books about writing. But my favourite quote about writing isn’t really about writing. It’s about life. Which doesn’t surprise me, because all the best life advice is also great writing advice, and all the best writing advice is great life advice, too.
