Ten years ago, I published “Seven Guidelines for Writing Worthy Non-Fiction.” Since my new Open Borders: The Science and Ethics of Immigration (co-authored with Zach Weinersmith) releases tomorrow, I decided to re-read my guidelines and do some soul-searching.
