When you’re lounging at home, going to the grocery store, heading to the beach or sitting in class… You don’t owe pretty to anyone
I don’t know who this quote is from, but it’s one of my favorites. As someone who has an immense drive to be impressive to others, I still sometimes struggle to escape the societal indoctrination that a woman’s value is determined by her appearance. But one day, I believe that I will truly accept and live by this quote.
